[Kanaya glances over her shoulder, following Sollux's trajectory, and she's surprised to see that Eridan is gone. She fights the urge to immediately check her Dreamberry, make sure he just walked out instead of disappeared, but instead she follows Sollux.]

Are you sure you're okay? Do you need me to get anything for you? I can stay here with you, if you want... if you need me...

[Because if she stays here with you, she can concentrate on you needing her, Sollux, and not on her own feelings about this whole mess.]

[Unfortunately Sollux doesn't pick up on the fact that Kanaya needs this more for herself. He's too wrapped up in his own feelings and emotions now along with the left over anger he built up towards Eridan.]

I'm FINE. I don't need anything!

[He winces a bit after he snapped at her, bringing an hand up to nurse his ever growing headache. Fuck he really didn't mean to do that.]

....look I just. Leave me alone for a bit. Please. That's all I need Kay-en.

[But she doesn't leave right away, instead standing and fidgetting in Karkat's abandoned room.]

[And then she does leave, fleeing out into the woods, needing to wander around in the trees for awhile, needing to be alone with her thoughts.

She doesn't even notice that Sollux called her Kay-en.]
