Maybe it could be a good thing. He wouldn't know. He felt like an ass though. Like some how all of this was his fault regardless of the fact that it wasn't. He knew it wasn't. It didn't change how he felt.
He glances in Kanaya's direction when she put her arm around him, wanting to tell her to go away. That he didn't need any comfort. He can't bring himself to do it. ]
